Tim Munday, PhD is a Quantitative Researcher for PGIM Wadhwani. Prior to joining PGIM Wadhwani, he worked at the Bank of England in the Monetary Analysis department where he consulted policymakers on monetary policy communication and the application of machine learning in policy analysis. In a previous role at the Bank of England, he was a visiting academic in Advanced Analytics, where he developed models at the intersection of machine learning and macroeconomics. Previously, he was a sell-side economist and economic forecaster at Goldman Sachs where he worked on large-scale modelling of the European economies focusing on labour market dynamics. He also has experience as a software developer at Econ-ark. In addition, he has served as an academic referee for both Macroeconomic Dynamics and the Oxford Bulletin of Economics and Statistics. He holds a double first BA in Economics from the University of Cambridge, and an MPhil and DPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford.
