Bahram Pesaran, PhD, is the Head of Research for PGIM Wadhwani. Prior to joining PGIM Wadhwani, he was a Senior Quantitative Analyst at Tudor Investment Corporation. Previously, Bahram was an Advisor and Economist to the Bank of England, a Professor of Economics at the University of East London, and an academic Economist and Econometrician at the London School of Economics and the National University of Iran. He also held professional positions at the Central Bank of Iran, the National Institute of Economic and Social Research and the Economic and Social Research Council. Bahram earned a diploma in computer science from Birbeck College, University of London, and a BSc in Economics, MSc in econometrics and mathematical economics and a PhD in econometrics from the London School of Economics.
